Rescue mission

Nigerians await proposed Benue rescue mission – Commissioner

Benue State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Mr. David Olofu

Jan. 09 (THEWILL) – Benue State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning Mr. David Olofu said the entire country is anxiously awaiting the people of the state to take the lead in the mission to save them from the maladministration of the All Progressive Federal Government led by Congress.

The commissioner made the disclosure to Makurdi as he welcomed the representative of Benue State to the National Technical Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on electronic registration, Mr. David Mzer and members of his team.

Olofu said he was ready to support the exercise in terms of logistics and training, noting that since the party handed over its national presidency to Benue and the central role that Governor Samuel Ortom played in the party in particular and in the Country in general, all eyes would be on the status for the actualization of the “rescue mission”, hence the need for all stakeholders to support the exercise.

While urging the Benue to adopt the electronic party registration exercise, the commissioner also encouraged the Yhem to register and obtain the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in order to prepare to vote the APC government against. power at the center in 2023.

Earlier, while listing the importance of the exercise, Mzer revealed that the party decided to scan its membership for a suitable database, due to its size, scope and evolution over time.

He added that the data obtained from the exercise would help the party plan for future elections, even though the donation of 150 promotional T-shirts was made to publicize the exercise.
