Susie is a very loving dog, who was pulled from a kill-shelter dreadfully under weight with mange and parasitic infections. After several months of her foster mother giving her weekly medicinal baths, Susie is finally mange-free and is gaining weight. Susie responds best to quiet, gentle, verbal, positive reinforcement. As she is still making up for not having a puppy hood, she is energetic and is best around children who are over 8 and have been around large dogs before. Susie enjoys long walks and watching television with her foster mother. Susie is a special girl who deserves a special forever home.
