Become a Rottie Angel!Baron was rescued by a private individual who volunteered for NCRR while stationed in NC until going back to his home state of KY and then deployed with the military overseas. A military vet clinic manager asked this rescuer if he could help save this guy. Baron was found along with a female Rottie at a KY military base in the tank range area. Both starving were rescued by military personnel and recovered at the base military clinic. The female was adopted quick, however poor Baron had no such luck. His rescuer not being able to find a rescue to take Baron in, took the initiative to rescue him and board him until a family could adopt him. The rescuer was about to be deployed overseas and rushed to make sure Baron learned to live in a home environment. Just before deploying a couple adopted Baron, however after a month they decided they could not handle school and a dog. Baron got adopted from his rescuer by a family in NC. Foster dad drove from KY to NC to deliver him just a few days before leaving and after a month or so the new owner (a student) decided she could not have him anymore. Foster dad had the family take Baron to a boarding kennel and asked us for help. Foster dad has spent lots of money to keep this dog alive until a family takes him. Since Baron never belonged to any rescue, his rescuer is currently boarding him until a new home can be found. This beautiful very obedient dog can be adopted only through NCRR now. His rescuer could not moraly allow this dog to die just because of his deployment and not being able to take Baron back to his home in KY. Baron's rescuer does some dog training and behavior modification and had Baron even evaluated by a proffesional trainer and passed with flying colors. Baron's rescuer had him neutered and made sure he is 100% healthy before delivering him. Baron at this time shows to be very playful and healthy. His rescuer although overseas is available (at least through e-mail and occasional phone calls) if any information is needed.
