Dog Day at the park

Residents of Holly Springs, both the human and four-legged variety, had fun in leaps, bounds and wagging tails on Saturday April 29th at the sixth annual Dog Day in the Park. It is estimated that over 400 dogs and 800 owners attended this free event from 10 a.m.-2p.m. at Womble Park. It was sponsored by Best Paw Forward dog education (BestPawOnline.com), the North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue (ncrottierescue.net), the town of Holly Springs (hollyspringsnc.us) and 23 other pet loving local businesses.

Pet Project packs Wake County park

The second annual News 14 Carolina "Pet Project" is history, after a fun Saturday at Lake Crabtree County Park in Morrisville.
