BEAU is a 4-year-old Rottweiler with a big, gentle spirit. He is a medium to low-energy dog and is eager to bond. We found BEAU to be very content to sit quietly next to whomever is petting him and occasionally gaze up with genuine gratitude.

This guy gets along with everyone -- his foster cat brothers and sisters, kids and other dogs. BEAU is house-trained and crate-trained, so we think he'll be a wonderful addition to any home. One of his favorite games is to play tug! Because of BEAU's size, a fenced-in yard is strongly encouraged so that he can have room for playtime.

BEAU is heartworm positive and is starting his treatment this week. He has an excellent prognosis for recovery and is otherwise healthy and happy.
